Belinda Tyler (Scout Taylor-Compton) wants to be a doctor, but women were not usually permitted careers, especially one in the medical field. But Belinda deeply wants a career as a doctor, and feels God has called her to be one. She learns to show her abilities while helping out a local doctor and caring for Mrs. Stafford-Smith (Nancy Linehan Charles),an elderly woman who recently had a stroke. Belinda nurses her back to health and helps her regain the use of her right arm. Belinda meets the nephew of their deceased neighbor, Drew Simpson. Drew (Patrick Levis) comes to town to get his uncle's farm in shape to sell and then return to New York to join his father's law practice. He does not want to stay in this small, unsophisticated town. But after meeting Belinda, he has second thoughts about staying. Belinda also feels something for Drew, but she is conflicted because she wants to become a doctor and then move back home so her loved ones can still get medical care from her. Even though most women of the time only married and had children, Belinda wants more. She has a calling and a great mind for medicine. Determined that it won't work between her and Drew, Belinda plans to leave to study medicine in Boston, with financial help from Mrs. Stafford-Smith. But after hearing Belinda's grandfather share how he felt about his wife, Marty, and how he knew of his feelings for her, does Drew realize he can't live without Belinda. Just as Belinda boards the stage coach, Drew arrives telling her he loves her, is willing to practice law in Boston while she is in school, and wants to move back to this small town with her once she becomes a doctor if that's what she wants. He asks for her to marry him. Knowing she feels the same way for him, Belinda accepts and finally admits to Drew that she loves him too. She and Drew are married with her family and friends present before they move to Boston together

"Das Kino und der Tod/Cinema and Death"(1988), is one of his 'Cinema Anthology' ,which was made by extraordinary Bitomsky's voice and movement of his hands that turn over photos of murder in films.It's 'a film noir as a film essay which analyzes film noir'. When he analyzes classic films like Hitchkock's "Torn Curtain",Lang's "Hangmen also die", Siegel's "The Killers",Aldrich's "Kiss me deadly",etc, each viewer tries to remake the images that always becomes uncertain in the memory,with the movement of Bitomsky's hands and voice as a detective showing photos of evidence of murders. There is an astonishing moment of new discovery of the image which we remember as a movement of the film.

In the turmoil of the Jeju 4.3 incident, Jeju Island witnessed the loss of an estimated 25,000 to 30,000 lives, with women constituting a significant yet often unrecognized proportion of the victims. This documentary illuminates the once-shrouded experiences of these women, led by a dedicated Jeju 4.3 researcher. 　　The Jeju April 3 Incident resulted in numerous fatalities. According to an official survey initiated by the Korean government in the 2000s, the count is around 14,000, but estimates suggest the actual number could range from 25,000 to 30,000. The majority of fatalities occurred as government suppression forces sought to root out armed guerrillas (78.1% of total fatalities, according to official records), consequently causing a substantial number of civilian deaths. Among them, 80% were men, which may explain why the hardships confronted by women during the incident have not been thoroughly researched or brought to light. VOICES is a documentary reflecting on the harsh history that women have faced, focusing on testimonies from four older women who lived through those times. The testimonies of those are poignant. One miraculously escaped death from a massacre after being dragged to a beach, another was stabbed seven times by the suppression forces but survived feigning death, and another lost most of her family members as part of a fugitive family. Especially the accounts of sexual violence perpetrated against women are deeply infuriating. The interspersed animations serve to reenact the incidents while also helping manage the surging anger.
